Ever wonder what it’s like to be miniaturized and injected into the body of a rabbit? Well neither did Lt. Tuck Pendleton as he mistakenly gets injected into hypochondriac Jack Putter! I mean whoa, flashback to the 80’s! Where was I? Oh yeah, miniaturization. My next XBLCG review is for a game called Biology Battle by Novaleaf Game Studios. In it you play a nanobot? What? You can’t play a nanobot, that’s not really a character? Well be that as it may you are a teeny, tiny, teensy, weensy, little nanobot. So small in fact you can fit into a cell! And that’s just what you do too. You go into a cell to do some battle! Some BIOLOGY BATTLE!

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009(xblig) Mithra – Episode 1: The Phantom Game – XBLCG
Wednesday, March 18th, 2009Okay not really a phantom game. Today’s game review is for another XBOX Live Community Games trial called Mithra: Episode 1, Chapter 1 – by Afiction Games – Not sure why it’s only the first chapter of the first episode. I kind of got the impression that there were chapters in each episode, as this game is supposed to be spanning 5 total episodes.
(xblig) ZP2K9 – Zombies and Pirates and Guns, Oh my! – XBLCG
Monday, March 9th, 2009I’m not talking about some twisted version of the Wizard of Oz, although that would be supremely cool. I’m talking about ZP2K9. What is ZP2K9. you ask? Glad you asked that. ZP2K9. or Zombies verses Pirates 2009 by Ska Studios is a platform-scrolling, gun toting, zombie marching, pirate plundering, shoot-fest for XBox Live Community Games!
ZP2K9. is basically a death-match style 2d platform-scrolling shooter. You take on the role of the titular zombie or pirate and attempt to blast other players or bots (AI agents). That’s pretty much it. When you setup your player you can choose either the human team, or the zombie team. Each “team” has seven skins – A dude, a Ninja, a chick, a Pirate, a “crusader” or knight, a Viking, and a Samurai. There are three game types, single player, xbox live multiplayer, and system link multiplayer. Unfortunately I was only able to review the single player, and only 8 minutes at a time. But I believe this was enough.
